A pair of Islanders

Canvey Island yesterday announced two signings in advance of the forthcoming Pitching In Isthmian North season.

Mason Hall spent part of last season with fellow North Division side Heybridge Swifts. The centre back managed fourteen appearances in black and white before the campaign came to a sudden halt, after joining from Wingate and Finchley, where he had played seven times. He was previously with Leyton Orient, and spent a short time on loan with Greenwich Borough.

Sammy Knott started last season with the club, before injury brought his time to an end. Fit again, the former Concord Rangers, East Thurrock United, Aveley, Tonbridge Angels and Waltham Abbey winger/full back is ready to try again.
