A pair of Lancers

By Ian Townsend

Tyrone Madhani and Ashley Mutongerwa are right here, right now!

Lancing have announced the arrivals of Tyrone Madhani and Ashley Mutongerwa.

Tyrone hasn't moved too far, as he heads along the A27 from Chichester City, trying not to get stuck at one of those interminable roundabouts or on the road outside the Toby Carvery in Worthing (other restaurants that serve Sunday roasts seven days a week are available). A midfielder or full back, he was a Brighton and Hove Albion youth who then played for Lewes Under 18's before heading to the USA. He spent a short while at Bognor Regis Town before making forty one appearances for Chi last season, weighing in with seven goals.

Ashley is also a midfielder, who previously played for Alfold and for Poole Town, where he appeared in both the reserves and the first team. He was part of the Development squad at Three Bridges before graduating to the first team, and also played briefly for Whitehawk.
