A pair of Woods

Northwood brought in two players from elsewhere in the BetVictor Isthmian League last week- and both were in the squad which was defeated by Waltham Abbey on Saturday.

Mileno Ribeiro Sanches came over from East Thurrock United, was handed the number nine shirt, and departed the fray courtesy of a red card in the forty fifth minute. He doesn't seem to have played a match for the Rocks this season, but the striker was previously with Hayes & Yeading United, Harrow Borough and Berkhampsted.

Defender Tristan Noel arrived from Staines Town, and remained on the bench at the weekend. He started last season with Ashford Town, making four appearances, and has also played for Walton & Hersham, and earlier this season was with Bedfont Sports.
