Ashford Town announce Paul as permanent boss

Ashford Town have announced that Paul McCarthy, who took over as interim manager back in March and took the Tangerines on a Magical Mystery Tour to the Final of the Southern Combination Cup- which they won- is to remain as manager, this time on a permanent basis.

'Macca' told the club website:

"I have actually really enjoyed doing it over the past few months, so was thrilled to be in the frame for next season. The club's future is looking really promising and I’m pleased that Nick and the board have given me the opportunity to take the team forward."
