A Regent double

Henry Day agrees to stay, Bradley Russell signs on

We were already under the impression that defender Henry Day was a permanent part of the Brightlingsea Regent setup, but it appears we were wrong, as the club have just confirmed that he has signed permanently after 'a successful temporary period.' Henry has made two recent appearances for Regent, in the draw at Margate and narrow defeat to Hastings United, and also made a couple of appearances for the club last season, in victory over East Thurrock United and defeat against Hornchurch. In between those spells he has been with Buckhurst Hill.

The club have also announced the signing of midfielder Bradley Russell, who has already made six appearances, so that one went under the radar a little! Brad was previously with FC Stansted and Hullbridge Sports- he made seven Sports appearances last season, scoring two goals.
