A Rovers double

Rylan John and Tariq Straker are new at Sutton Common Rovers

Sutton Common Rovers yesterday announced two additions as they prepare for Saturday's home fixture against bottom side Binfield.

First in was Rylan John, who makes the short distance move from fellow Pitching In isthmian South Central side Chipstead. Defender Rylan has made five Chips appearances this season, and scored in their Velocity Cup win at Leatherhead. He has previously turned out for Romulus FC in the Midland Football League, and spent a little time at Carshalton Athletic. He appears to be a Chelsea supporter, but we won't hold that against him.

Tariq Straker makes the move from Pitching In Isthmian South East side East Grinstead Town. He seems to have played only once for the Wasps this season, after making thirty eight appearances during 22-23 and sixteen in the second half of 21-22. The defender was previously with Haywards Heath Town, and he has also played for Epsom & Ewell.
