A Saturday Round up

By Ian Townsend

Aveley won our Charity Shield- their third shiny trophy in four months- Sittingbourne hit five at Stortford, whilst Bognor, East Thurrock, Folkestone and Hastings were also big scorers. It's our pre-season Saturday round up

We're reliant on social media, particularly Elon Musk's latest tipple (San Francisco one X), for our details- so apologies for any omissions, sometimes the info flew away with the bird.

We start at Parkside, where Aveley welcomed Concord Rangers in the Isthmian Charity Shield. The Millers added more silverware to their Velocity Cup and Promotion Play Off wins of last season, beating the Beachboys three-nil. Matt Rush scored all three, and had a forth ruled out for offside.
