Goalkeeper Callum Smart makes Thatcham debut in eight goal thriller

Thatcham Town fans had much to applaud in Saturday's five-three win over Binfield, not least the debut of goalkeeper Callum Smart, who joins on a dual registration deal from Gosport Borough.

Callum played for Alresford Town in the Wessex League before signing for Borough in November 2022. He ended last season on loan at Fleet Town in the Combined Counties Premier, and was back at Fleet Town for a second spell this season.
