Shortly after they took part in Saturday's FA Cup victory at FC Romania, Brentwood Town announced their three latest acquisitions- Kudus Oyenuga, Phil Roberts and Joshua Gray.
Fans of Leatherhead, Haringey Borough and Margate will have memories of Kudus, as he's played for each of that trio relatively recently- five times for the Tanners towards the end of last season, scoring once, fourteen times for Gate- most memorable for an impressive hat trick against Kingstonian in August last year- and seven times for Borough at the end of the 2018-19 season, scoring in the Playoff Semi-Final against Tonbridge Angels. The forward came through the Spurs youth side and has also turned out for Chelmsford City, Hayes and Yeading United, Welling United and- earlier in his career- for Bury, Dundee United and Hartlepool United.
Phil, a striker, came through the youth ranks at Norwich City and Arsenal and has played north of the border at Inverness Caledonian Thistle, Falkirk, Dundee and Alloa Athletic, across the Irish sea at Sligo Rovers, and in the National League for Chelmsford City, Hemel Hempstead Town, Braintree Town, Dartford, Wealdstone and Welling United. He also spent a short time at Romford last season, playing twice and scoring once.
Finally Joshua is fresh from the youth ranks of Cambridge United- where he captained the Youth Team. We know little more about him, but we look forward to finding out!
