A trio of Urchins

AFC Hornchurch strengthened before last night's match at Margate.

Mark Stimson added three new Urchins to his squad before yesterday's 0-0 draw at Margate- and two of them turned out immediately in the Kent rain.

Defender George Forrest was the odd one out, as he wasn't in the squad at Hartsdown Park. Moving to Bridge Avenue from Romford, he has already made eighteen appearances for the Boro this season, most recently in defeat to Witham Town on 8th December.

Joining Forrest, and going straight into the side, are Lee Prescott and Taylor Miles. Last night must have been rather strange for Prescott, as he signed from Margate, and as such was playing his first game for his new club at the home of his former club. He'd made thirteen appearances for Gate this season, most recently in a goalless draw with Bognor Regis Town last month.

Taylor Miles, another midfielder, arrives on loan from National League South Chelmsford City. He has made seventeen appearances for City this season, most recently against Braintree Town on December 3rd.

You can read about these signings on the Urchins website, here.
