A Tuesday night round up

By Ian Townsend

Record temperatures didn't stop all of our football. Here's what happened.

Reporting on pre-season friendlies is anything but an exact science, with us having to rely on social media for all of the information. But to the best of our knowledge, here's what happened last night.

Horsham defeated Leatherhead two-one at the Camping World Community Stadium, with goals from Jack Mazzone and Eddie D’Sane. We don’t know who scored for the Tanners, but suspect it was a trialist.

Basingstoke Town fell three-one to Bracknell Town, Brad Wilson scoring for Stoke, whilst Billericay Town won by the same score against Harlow Town, Jacob Bancroft , a trialist and Bradley Stevenson with the goals.

Cray Valley PM and Concord Rangers couldn’t manage a goal, whilst Heybridge Swifts welcomed Brightlingsea Regent and lost three-one. Samuel Jeremiah, Zack Littlejohn and Ollie Bell scored for Regent, a trialist for Swifts.

Bishop's Stortford lost three-nil against Dagenham & Redbridge, whilst Hassocks hosted Burgess Hill Town, the Hillians winning two-one. Lewis Finney and a trialist scored the goals.
