A Witham walk

Witham coaches Andy and Mark to walk sixty miles for charity

Witham Town coaches Andy Lindop and Mark Stevens have decided that they don't get quite enough exercise when pacing the touchline, so they are going to walk sixty miles between them- on a treadmill in case of another monsoon- to raise money for the Witham Town Soccability programme.

The walk will take place on the morning of Saturday November 13th- just in time for them to get to Felixstowe and Walton United for the match that afternoon- and the outcome is very important to both coaches. Andy explains:

"Soccability is all about making people's life better , just by making them smile. Some of these kids may have disabilities, but with a ball at their feet they turn into Usain Bolt!

Pennies make pounds , so dig deep, every penny helps. Mark and I are walking a long way just to make a little difference.”

They'd like your pennies, if you have any to spare, but they'd be even happier with your pounds! Proceeds will also go to the MIND MENTAL HEALTH charity, and they hope to make a thousand pounds in total. They've already made good progress, but you can add to their total just by heading to their crowdfunding page, which you will find HERE.

The very best of luck to them both!
