Abnett heads to the seaside

We've more transfer news about a former Moatsider- and for once, it isn't to confirm that he's signing for Kingstonian! Actually, we already confirmed- last month- that he was joining Kingstonian, so it appears that he has had a change of heart.

Michael Abnett made his Margate debut in a pre-season draw with Welling United yesterday, moving to Hartsdown Park after being a crucial part of Merstham's success in reaching the Playoff Final last season. The former Crystal Palace Academy player originally joined Merstham in 2013/14, and will be greatly missed by supporters at Moatside.
