Adlington once more in black and white

By Ian Townsend

Jack Adlington is back at Heybridge Swifts

Heybridge Swifts have announced the return to the club of midfielder Jack Adlington, who departed Scraley Road in December last year after spending best part of five seasons with the club.

Jack made one hundred and one appearances during that period, and scored twenty one goals. He moved on to Brentwood Town, where he finished last season, and made fifteen appearances, scoring six times. This season saw him once again one of the first names on the Blues team sheet, and he has made ten appearances, scoring twice.

In his pre-Swift days he spent time with Basildon United- and indeed had played sixteen times during the Bees first Isthmian season before making a move to Heybridge. He has also turned out for Great Wakering Rovers and Southend Manor.
