An Antiques Road Trip!

Witham to host drive-in valuation day

Witham Town have announced that they will be hosting an antiques road trip on Friday 7th August, and have invited the local community to wrap up their valuables, place them gently in their vintage motor vehicle, and pootle serenely to the Simarco Stadium to have them valued by a team of experts.

The event, which will run from ten thirty to two thirty and then from three to six PM- even crusty old antiques experts need a break for lunch- will be entirely socially distanced. Visitors will check in from their car, and can stay there whilst waiting to have their nic nacs examined. This examination will then happen with experts and owners separated by a safety screen, and smelling salts will be available to revive anyone who might pass out after being told that their Auntie Vi's old china is actually from the Ming Dynasty. Actually, we might have made that last bit up!

We've attached two images that have all the details you need.
