And then there was one

Only Bishop's Stortford remain undefeated in the Premier Division. Here's a brief update on yesterday's impressive win at Cray Wanderers.

Undefeated records. Cray Wanderers know rather a lot about those, having remained undefeated from New Years Day until 6th October, but yesterday they suffered their second reverse in a week as Bishop's Stortford came from behind to take all three points at Hayes Lane.

Stortford seem to have put the trials of last season behind them in a big way, as they are not only our one undefeated Premier Division side, they've won both of their cup ties too- and face Royston Town in the FA Cup Third Qualifying Round on Wednesday night. Yesterday the visiting Blues (although they were playing in white) could have wilted after Freddie Parker gave Wands an early lead, but after the break they struck back three times, Aaron Greene and two from Frankie Merrifield leaving the hosts clutching at thin air.

The Blues are up to fourth, only a point off the summit. Wands drop to seventh, and have a long trip to Bristol Manor Farm in the FA Cup on Tuesday night, where they will hope to start another unbeaten run.
