Another Swan- but still no points

Former Stoke and Leicester striker moves over from the National League- but can't immediately change their fortunes.

We told you about one Staines Town signing yesterday, and at half time in yesterday's match at Chalfont St Peter it looked as if we'd also be telling you about three Staines Town points, but it was not to be as a second half comeback gave victory to the Saints.

Making a Swans debut in the match was striker Marcel Barrington, who has moved to Wheatsheaf Park from National League South Dartford. A Guyana international who started his career with Stoke City and also spent time at Leicester City, Marcel has most recently- prior to the Darts- spent time with Concord Rangers, Braintree Town and Hampton and Richmond Borough, but Isthmian supporters may remember him from his time with Hendon, Grays Athletic and Tooting & Mitcham United in 2016-17, and prior to that with Margate, Harrow Borough, Bishop's Stortford and Walton Casuals.
