Another trio of Robins

Bracknell's squad building continues

Bracknell Town have announced three further signings as Bobby Wilkinson builds what looks to be an impressive squad for 2020-21. The latest arrivals are Alex Ferguson (no, not that one), Ben Markall and Gareth Thomas.

Midfielder Alex started life at Swindon Town, but moved to Chippenham Town in December 2013- at first on loan- and became a regular there, a mainstay of the first team for more than five years.

Striker Ben signed for Cheltenham Town aged twelve, and was snapped up by Stoke City- who were then in the Premier League- soon afterwards. He remained at Stoke for four years, and then moved to Burton Albion, where he stayed for three seasons before deciding that professional football wasn't for him. He went on to play for Hednesford Town and Alvechurch.

Defender Thomas has been a mainstay of Thatcham Town for a number of years. He has also played for Hungerford Town, Winchester City, Abingdon United and Didcot Town.
