John Guyton is no longer a Bee

Just when you finish one manager departure story, you start another...

Basildon United have announced that manager John Guyton has left the club. They released the briefest statement, as follows:

'Basildon United Football Club can announce this afternoon we have parted company with John Guyton.

We would like to wish John all the best for the future.'

John was in charge at Basildon for thirteen months, taking the role after being highly successful with Bowers and Pitsea Under 23's. The Bees haven't had the best of campaigns so far, and sit in seventeenth place in the Pitching In Isthmian North Division. They lost to Stowmarket Town last night.
