Basingstoke bring in Thatcham Town striker

It's a sideways South Central move for Conor Lynch

Basingstoke Town last night announced the arrival of Thatcham Town sharpshooter Conor Lynch.

Conor moved over to Thatcham from National League side Hungerford Town, and did have a brief loan spell with Stoke during the 2019-20 season (it was very brief, one game, one goal). He was also rather prolific in a loan spell with Fairford, and in another at Letcombe.

Last season he managed six goals from nine matches before the campaign shuddered to a halt for a second season in a row.

Conor told the club website:

Conor Lynch had his say on moving to his new club

“After speaking to the Gaffer and those around the club I knew this was going to be the right opportunity for me. I’m delighted to be on board. I’m hungry for success and just can’t wait to get going.”
