Bay sign a former Hammer

Herne Bay yesterday announced the signing of Anthony Edgar from Cray Valley PM- and he made an immediate impression on the home faithful by scoring the opening goal in victory over Chichester City.

A former West Ham United youth, Edgar also played for Bournemouth, Yeovil and Barnet during his professional career. He has also spent time at Bishop's Stortford, Braintree Town, Woking and Hayes & Yeading United, before becoming part of the Millers squad that won promotion and reached the FA Vase Final last season.

He made twenty two appearances for the Millers this season, scoring three goals.
