Benoit for Hashtag

Hashtag United yesterday gave a debut to Eli Benoit in their FA Trophy defeat to Chipstead, the player leaving Hythe Town and moving from South East to North.

Eli had made four appearances for the Cannons this season, the last in FA Cup defeat against Dartford last weekend. He scored his only goal in that topsy-turvy FA Cup draw with Westfield on August 21st. He had previously made five appearances for Hythe during 2019-20, and had also played for Tilbury, Waltham Abbey and Barking, as well as Leyton Athletic.
