Stortford sign Archie- read more and hear the latest from Blues boss Steve Smith


Bishop's Stortford have announced the signing of Archie Jones from Peterborough United.

Archie spent time on loan with the Blues last season, and was mightily impressive. He made twelve appearances, playing a full part in the Blues unbeaten League campaign and their run to the FA Cup and FA Trophy First Rounds scoring two goals- indeed he scored their last goal of our shortened season, against Haringey Borough.

Still only nineteen, he came through the Posh Academy and played one senior match after signing his first professional deal. We're sure he'll be looking to go and earn another.
