Bloor the new boss at Hastings

Former Eastbourne Borough boss Danny Bloor takes the reins at the Pilot Field

Hastings United have announced that Danny Bloor is their new manager, replacing the recently departed Chris Agutter.

Danny explained- via the club website:

'I am delighted to accept the position of First Team Manager of Hastings Utd. For me the fans are the most important people at a football club and Hastings without a shadow of a doubt has the best and I am so looking forward to meeting them.

This is a proper football club with proper football people involved and I cant wait to follow on the great work Chris has started. There will be no wholesale changes, we have a fantastic squad in place.’

Danny was manager of Eastbourne Borough for three and a half years, surprisingly departing last summer after new owners came into the club and made a number of changes. He moved on to manage Welling United, but departed the club earlier this year. He was previously at Lewes, Worthing and Eastbourne Town.
