Blues look to the heavens!

Grays Athletic's latest signing has left officials at the Ryman Premier club believing they can count on a new supporter, God!

After 16-year-old Praise The Lord Masasu joined their reserves squad on Friday, Blues officials told fans reading news of his arrival on their website: "Yes Blues supporters you read that headline correct. We have God on our side as the 16-year-old signs for the reserves. Welcome to the club Praise The Lord."

In other news, officials thanked long-term treasurer Tony Packer for his services this week after work commitments forced the club director to relinquish the role.

A spokesman said: "Tony's contribution to the club has been invaluable over the past few years and we would like to thank Tony for all his time and energy."
