Blues sign a striking sensation

It may be autumn, but the sun will be shining in Summers Lane today after Wingate and Finchley announced the capture of Ware forward Oluwaseun Akinsanya.

Akinsanya has nine league goals already this season; two more than Wingate & Finchley's entire Premier Division total (he has also scored seven in cup competitions), making him the top scorer in the South Central Division. He has been an enormous part of Ware's unbeaten start to the season, and will be missed at Wodson Park, but the Summers Lane Blues will be hoping that he is the signing that could kick-start their season and fire them up the table.

He could make his debut at East Thurrock United tomorrow.
