Blues sign up Braintree full back

Jay Porter returns to the Pitching In Isthmian League

Bishop's Stortford had the best defence in the Pitching In Isthmian Premier last season, but the Blues aren't resting on their laurels as they prepare for the new campaign, and have brought in Braintree Town full back Jay Porter to further strengthen their backline.

Jay was last on our patch last summer, when he left Margate after two seasons to step up a level. Prior to his time with the seaside blues he was with Enfield Town, and also spent time with Hornchurch when they still had their AFC. He also played for Dartford, and for our late lamented Thamesmead Town.
