Bognor announce major ground improvements

Rocks to dramatically improve Nyewood Lane- hopefully before we kick off once more

Bognor Regis Town have announced an ambitious improvement plan for their Nyewood Lane stadium, with a new stand and other enhancements.

The largest part of the construction project will be a new three hundred and sixty seven seater grandstand. The covered area behind the goal next to Seasons Bar, which was only installed earlier this season but blown away by Storm Ciara, will be replaced; and these improvements will be added to with a new pa system, a new toilet block and new floodlights.

The grandstand will be on a cantilevered variety with good sightlines for all, and can be extended up to five hundred seats if required. It will replace the stand in the image above.

Subject to planning permission, the club hope that all work will be completed before we next kick a ball in anger.

That was the season that…wasn’t: Attendances. We’re going to round up the unfinished 2019-20 season in numbers over the next few days. We’re starting off by looking at attendances.
