Borough sign a Frox in the box!

Haringey bring in Cypriot international midfielder

Haringey Borough, in second place in the Bostik Premier Division, have fallen off the pace in recent weeks, a downturn in their form coinciding with rivals Dorking Wanderers going on a winning streak that shows no sign of ending. However they travel to Bognor Regis Town today strengthened by the signing of Cyprus internalional midfielder Dimitris Froxylias.

Froxylias has spent much of his recent career in Scotland, playing for both Dumbarton and Falkirk. He made his debut for Cyprus in March last year, playing in a friendly draw against Montenegro, and followed that up with an appearance in a 3-0 friendly defeat to Jordan.

In the same month he told the Scottish Sun that he'd been considering quitting the game before his move to Dumbarton, but went on to become a hero for the Scottish side, scoring the goal- you can watch it here- that sent his side through to the Irn Bru Scottish Challenge Cup Final, which they lost 1-0 to Inverness Caledonian Thistle.
