Brentwood Town secure seven

Brentwood Town have announced the retention of seven members of last season's squad, joining up with the impressive signings already announced this summer.

Connor Hogan, Robbie Rees, Andy Freeman, Ollie Bowles, Jack Dickinson, Joe Wicks and Jay Bacon have all signed on for the 2020-21 Pitching In Isthmian North campaign.

Midfielder Connor has been part of promotion-winning squads at Brightlingsea Regent, Hornchurch and Cheshunt, so will be hoping to achieve that again, whilst Robbie, another midfielder, also won promotion with Regent. Andy's quality is well known and admired at the club- he was part of their last promotion winning side- whilst goalkeeper Ollie was also part of that victorious Regent squad in 2016-17 and Town's last promotion winning squad.

Jack came through the youth team so will be hoping for his first promotion campaign, whilst Joe, another midfielder, came through the ranks at Millwall and has also turned out for Kingstonian, Greenwich Borough, Maldon and Tiptree and Witham Town.

Finally, defender Jay came in from Romford last season, and previously played for Dartford.
