Brown returns to dugout at Margate

Margate

Former AFC Wimbledon and Aldershot manager Terry Brown is back in the Ryman League as Margate’s new manager.

Brown, who took the Dons into the Football League two years ago via the Conference play-offs, was unveiled as the Premier Division Gate’s new manager on Thursday. His long-time assistant Stuart Cash was appointed alongside him at Hartsdown Park.

Brown and Cash replace Margate’s former joint managers Simon Osborn and Craig Holloway. Keeper Holloway stood down two weeks ago to concentrate on his playing career while Osborn and his assistant Ian Docker were released from their management duties after Saturday's 5-3 defeat at Bognor Regis Town.

Brown and Cash take charge for the first time on Saturday when Margate travel to AFC Hornchurch.
