Budd heads to Town

Witham Town yesterday gave a debut to experienced keeper Rob Budd- although it isn't one he'll want to remember for long, as his new side fell to a four-nil defeat at Stowmarket Town in the FA Cup.

Rob has had a highly-regarded Isthmian career. He was the hero as Thamesmead Town defeated Maldon & Tiptree to win promotion from the North Division back in 2013, saving two penalties in the Playoff Final, and has also turned out for the likes of Canvey Island- during the 2019-20 campaign, Harlow Town (last season), Brentwood Town, Hullbridge Sports, Herne Bay, Ilford, Romford and Saffron Walden Town.

He has most recently been with Phoenix Sports.
