Ramsgate fans may not have got too much enjoyment whilst watching their side lose to Corinthian on Tuesday night, but they did at least get to see a new player grace the 'turf' at the Southwood Stadium, as Eddie Carrington made his debut after moving down from Potters Bar Town.
Eddie has only been with the Scholars since mid January, and he appeared only five times for the club, the last of those coming in the one-one draw at Cheshunt on March 1st. The Rams are his third Pitching In Isthmian club of the campaign, as he was a Tanner before he was a Scholar, making four appearances for Leatherhead- and scoring against Potters Bar not too long before he joined them.
Eddie played for both Brentford and Tottenham Hotspur at Academy level, and was a right winger and an occasional right back for the Under 18 side at White Hart Lane. He left Spurs in the summer.
