Invicta - who are urging fans to donate to a bucket collection planned for this Saturday in aid of charity Breast Cancer Now when they host Hendon in a relegation six-pointer - are looking forward to a big crowd kicking off the real ales and cider festival on Sunday 16 April.
Officials say live music and a BBQ is being laid on before the festival continues on Bank Holiday Monday before and after their final fixture 2016-17 Ryman Premier season against the promotion-chasing Angels.
Before staging what they hope turns out to be an end of term party celebrating their top flight status next season, Neil Cugley's side face a fixture their manager is calling their most "important in years" as they bid to hold on to the place they won in the Ryman Premier last season as runaway Ryman South chamnpions.
Off the pitch, Invicta supporter Dan Seal is holding the bucket collection to support his upcoming efforts this summer in the Great Manchester Run and over three days on a 220 mile cycle from London to Paris in aid of Breast Cancer Now, the UK's largest breast cancer charity.
Seal told fans: “As I’m sure many of you know, Breast cancer is the most common type of cancer in the UK and claims one victim every 45 minutes. Every pound donated will be another step towards stopping breast cancer taking lives.
"I’m doing these events in memory of my aunt, who died in 2014 after a battle with breast cancer aged only 55. Let’s hope that there will come a time when no one will die from this devastating disease.
"I’m motivated by the charity's vision that, by 2050, everyone who develops breast cancer will live but that can only happen if their medical research is funded so please consider making a donation to this great cause."
