Supporters of Lewes and East Thurrock United are being asked to dig deep and go shopping prior to their match at the Dripping Pan on Saturday. The Rooks are collecting for a local food bank, and are asking supporters to bring non-perishable foods, but particularly tinned meats, tinned veg, cereals and tea bags.
If you're a local and don't want to bring your produce to the match, the Supporters Club will also be collecting at Lewes Tesco from 7AM.
The club is also collecting for Teenage Cancer Trust. Not only will there be donation buckets, but the Supporters Club has decided to donate all money received for the matchday raffle and Golden Goal competition to the charity.
Please help if you can.
