Enfield man Chris Arthur joins Sittingbourne

Just before the weekend's action Sittingbourne announced the arrival of Chris Arthur, who can play at left wing or left back and recently left Enfield.

Chris has extensive experience, much of it at a significantly higher level. He came through the ranks at Queens Park Rangers before graduating to the first team squad, and also whilst a Super Hoop had loan spells at Hayes & Yeading Utd, Kettering Town and Rushden & Diamonds.

He moved on to Bishop's Stortford before heading back into the professional game with Rotherham United. A period at Havant & Waterlooville followed before he made the step up once more, joining Northampton Town, but his time with the Cobblers didn't last long as he was soon back at Havant, where he remained until AFC Wimbledon came calling a season and a half later.

After a year as a Don, he moved on to Woking, initially on loan and later permanently, before joining Crawley Town. Another Woking loan spell followed, and time at Aldershot Town, before he headed to Whitehawk in 2017.

Since them he has played for a number of our clubs, including Leatherhead, Kingstonian and Ware. He left Wodson Park for Enfield at the start of the season, and played four times before Enfield's force restructuring last month.
