t the age of just 24, Nyren Clunis clocked up another milestone with his 300th Dulwich Hamlet appearance in last week’s win away to Harlow Town.

The Dulwich Hamlet wingman, now in his eighth season as a Dulwich Hamlet first teamer, originally graduated from the club’s continuingly successful Youth setup in 2009. In November of that year he made his debut for Dulwich Hamlet in a 2-0 home defeat by Burgess Hill Town. Later that season he scored the winner in a 1-0 victory away to Fleet Town, his maiden goal for the Hamlet.

A prolific goal scorer Nyren was top scorer for the club in the 2010/11 season and in the last campaign he finished with 13 goals. Since first finding the net for Dulwich, Nyren has gone on to bag 72 goals, his latest the opener in the 2-1 win over Enfield Town.

Prior to Saturday’s game at home to Canvey Island Nyren was presented with a memento by Dulwich Hamlet club president Jack Payne to mark his achievement. His treble century puts him in the top 12 of all-time appearances for the club since 1950.

Everyone at the club offers congratulations to Nyren, wishing him many more outings in Pink and Blue and more goals to boot!
