Matt Howard has returned to Corinthian-Casuals as the successor to the departed Kim Harris.

The up and coming coach, pictured, kicked off his coaching career at King George's Field before working at Fulham and later managing Chessington United, guiding the Combined Counties outfit to their highest placed finish and points total at the age of 24.

Now 33, he is currently in his third year coaching at Woking`s Academy where he has helped the Cards reach the FA Youth Cup’s Second Round twice, win league titles and lift two cups.

Harris parted company for the second time this season with Casuals on Tuesday night, six months after stepping down for the first time through ill health less than three weeks into the new campaign.

With Casuals currently second from bottom, Howard takes charge for the first time on Saturday when they travel to play-off chasing Faversaham Town.
