Collins for Concord

By Ian Townsend

Sammy Collins takes the top job, with Curtis Ujah his Assistant

Concord Rangers have announced that their new manager will be former Beachboys player Sammy Collins.

Sam came through the Academy at MK Dons before playing on our patch with Hendon. He went on to play for Maidenhead United and Hornchurch before first pulling on the shirt at his new club, and was a big part of their side between 2013 and 2017, before moving along the road to join Canvey Island. He then spent some time with Bowers & Pitsea before retiring from playing.

This is his first managerial appointment.

His Assistant will be Curtis Ujah, a former centre back with the likes of Marlow, Maidenhead United, St Albans City, Haringey Borough, Thurrock, Harlow Town and Enfield Town.
