Cook and Branker arrive at Thatcham

Bracknell midfielder Ben is one of two new arrivals at Thatcham Town, with former Saint, Jamal, the other

Thatcham Town have announced the loan signing of Bracknell Town midfielder Ben Cook- who you might remember from his time at Basingstoke Town, given he's only been a Robin since May.

Ben made thirty six appearances for 'stoke last season, and found the back of the net four times. He had been with the club since the summer of 2019, and previously played for Wantage Town, Reading City, Andover Town- and Thatcham Town. He has been allowed to leave the Robins on a month's loan after missing half of pre-season due to work commitments.

Another midfielder, Jamal Branker, also returns to the club. A former Southampton youth, Jamal played Under 18 and Under 21 football with the Saints, and had loan time with Frome Town, before leaving St Mary's for Slough Town. He later played for Hyde United before first arriving at Thatcham, and went on to play for North Leigh and Wantage Town.
