Enfield Town had a bumper day of signings yesterday, as five members of last season's squad returned and an experienced defender signed on.
That defender is Lee Chappell, who manager Andy Leese sees in a left back role- although he can also play in midfield. Lee spent much of the last decade playing for St Albans City, where he also wore the captain's armband. He has also turned out for Ware, Wealdstone and Royston Town, and played the 2018-19 season and part of the last campaign with our former favourites Hendon, before apparently retiring from playing- although it now seems otherwise!
The returning quintet are Lyle Della-Verde, Jon Muleba, Shaun Okojie, Scott Thomas and Sam Youngs.
