Dembele goes North

Bognor's Nick Dembele joins Potters Bar Town

Pitching In Isthmian Premier leaders Potters Bar Town have announced the signing of Bognor Regis Town striker/winger Nick Dembele.

We knew that Nick was leaving the Rocks, because at the weekend, after sitting on the bench for the win at Weston Super Mare, he tweeted:

'Unfortunately my time @rocks1883 has come to an end. I want to thank everyone involved at the club for the support during my time and wish you all the best for the season! Genuinely a great club with great people.'

We didn't at that point know his destination, but now, it seems, we do. Nick has made sixteen appearances this season, scoring four goals. He joined the Rocks in the summer from Gosport Borough, but you may have seen him play for Lewes, Cambridge City, Met Police, Walthamstow or Waltham Forest. He also played in Gibraltar for a while, but it's less likely you saw him there!
