Wilson-Braithwaite leaves Maldon for Potters Bar Town

The eagle-eyed might have seen a new name on the bench for Potters Bar Town as they defeated Haringey Borough on Saturday, as the club have signed Dequane Wilson - Braithwaite from Pitching In Isthmian North side Maldon & Tiptree.

Dequane had been a Jammer for only a few weeks, moving to Maldon from St Neots Town, and doesn't seem to have even made a debut.

Dequane was in his second season at St Neots, having previously played for Potton United. He spent three years at the Tottenham Hotspur Academy between the ages of twelve and fifteen, after which he was snapped up by the Luton Town Academy, joining the Hatters just over three years ago.

He has also played briefly for Welling Town in the Southern Counties East Football League this season.
