Tilbury have big plans for their future

Tilbury have submitted plans for a new five million pound stadium to Thurrock Council. The Dockers, in partnership with an investment company, hope to build a four thousand capacity community sports facility, with an all-weather pitch, clubhouse, gym and hall, with parking facilities. Attached to the development will be the building of one hundred and twelve new homes on previously developed land.

Daniel Nash, Chairman of Tilbury Football Club, commented:

“We are proud of our rich history and the role we play at the heart of the community in Tilbury. This proposal presents a once in a lifetime opportunity to not only secure our long-term future, but go further and take the next step in our growth to continue to do the community proud. The proposed investment is a big open goal for the community, and we hope everyone in Thurrock can get behind the plans.”
