Double Hamlet

By Ian Townsend

Miquel Scarlett and Jack Ruddy are new at Dulwich Hamlet

Dulwich Hamlet's latest two arrivals are Miquel Scarlett and Jack Ruddy.

Goalkeeper Jack spent his youth playing football in Scotland and Spain, before heading to England and signing for Bury. He soon moved up to Wolverhampton Wanderers, having loan time at Oldham Athletic, north of the border with Ayr United, and in Spain, before leaving Molineux and heading back to Scotland with Ross County. He has moved around a little since, with another spell in Spain, time at Plymouth Argyle, a spell in Ireland and another spell in Scotland, most recently with Cowdenbeath.

Miquel, a defender, moves up from the Sunshine Coast where he has been turning out for Eastbourne Borough. He played youth and Under 21 football for both Gillingham and Colchester United, and spent a very short time with Hamlet before his move to Eastbourne. Whilst with the Gills he spent a short time on loan at Sheppey United, then in the SCEFL.
