Dover keeper heads to Ramsgate

Josh Bexon signs on at Southwood

Ramsgate have announced the return to the club of goalkeeper Josh Bexon, who played for the club as a youth before earning a move to Southend United.

Josh was just fifteen when he became a Shrimper, and he played for United at Under 18 level, eventually signing a professional deal. Watchers of the Pitching In Isthmian League might remember him from his time at Harlow Town, first on loan and then permanently, where he was almost ever present during the Hawks relegation season of 2018-19 and their number one for the next season, their first in our South Central Division.

He also spent some loan time in Austria, with FC Kitzbühel.

His time at Dover Athletic began in 2020, so he has had rather a traumatic period with the club, as they failed to finish the 2020-21 season and were then relegated with only one point last year, after starting on minus twelve.
