Elephants forgotten as Hillians announce new ground sponsors

Burgess Hill announce More Than Tyres as their new stadium sponsor

No longer will we be able to call Burgess Hill Town the Green Elephants, as after a number of years the purveyors of "big pointy tents" (Hillians programme editor Colin Bowman) have been replaced by local tyre and auto specialists More Than Tyres, who are based in the town centre near the railway station (note to opposition fans, that's not the railway station you want for the club, the ground is near Wivelsfield station).

Leylands Park will henceforth be known as the More Than Tyres Stadium, and perhaps we can now call the club the Green Frogs, given the company logo of their new partners.

Announcing the deal, the club explained:

'We would like to take this opportunity to thank Ash and his team at More Than Tyres for supporting the club and look forward to our ongoing partnership!'
