A debut and a goal for new Blue Vasiliou

Antonis Vasiliou makes a dream start to his Wingate & Finchley career

Wingate and Finchley fans may have known little about Antonis Vasiliou when he walked out in the number eleven shirt to face Bowers and Pitsea on Saturday, but they would certainly have been delighted with what they were watching, as he scored the opening goal in a two-nil victory.

Antonis has moved up to Summers Lane from Ashford Town, and that was his second goal in a week, as he also got the winner for the Tangerines against South Park on Bank Holiday Monday.

Antonis plays for Barnet, and was with the Tangerines on loan, making four appearances. A Cypriot Youth International, he has been part of the Bees first team squad after coming through their Under 18 side. This isn't his first or even second loan move, as he has already spent time on loan at Berkhamsted, St Albans City and Beaconsfield. He is with the Blues for a month.
