A Friendly round up- Friday 14th August

By Ian Townsend

A handful of our sides played pre-season friendlies last night. Here's what happened, in no particular order.

Friday night was football night once more, and a number of our sides took part in behind-closed-doors pre-season friendlies.

We start with Faversham Town, who travelled to Chatham Town and left after a four-nil drubbing.

Corinthian-Casuals went to Three Bridges, and came away with a two-nil victory. There doesn't seem to be any record of who got those goals, but if we find out we'll let you know!

Merstham travelled to face Colliers Wood United and had a fine old time, winning the match by six goals to one. We know that Mensah, Monga and Ayoola (2) got four of the goals between them, but we're not sure about the other two. Perhaps they were scored by the ubiquitous A. Trialist?

Dereham Town were at Kirkley and Pakefield. No, we don't know where that is either, but it looks pretty from the air, as the Magpies provided a drone image! The match ended two-one to our visitors, with goals from Ryan Crisp. Yes, both of them.

And that appears to be that. More tomorrow!
