A World Tour of Kent- Part Eight: Hythe Town

The last stop on our travels was the beautiful town of Hythe, and we took the opportunity to head to Reachfields

Last week, as you might have noticed if you are a regular visitor to this website, we took a trip to Kent and visited a number of our clubs. We've already shared some ground images of Sittingbourne, Faversham Town, Whitstable Town, Herne Bay, Ramsgate, Folkestone Invicta and Ashford United, and today we end the series- later than planned because of a memory card malfunction(!)- with some shots of Reachfields, home of Hythe Town.

The Cannons played there on Saturday in the FA Cup, courtesy of the fabulous work to prepare the pitch carried out by groundsman Al ("the grass was six inches high after lockdown"). Sadly for home fans they couldn't get a win, South Park leaving with the plaudits, but they are back there this weekend for the opening match of the Pitching In Isthmian South East season, with Burgess Hill Town the visitors.
